San Francisco Fleet Week 2000
[October 6-9, 2000]

Fleet Week is one of my favorite events that I look forward to each year. This year, I was lucky enough to tour a real nuclear submarine, which was well worth the three hour wait!

One of the big highlights is seeing the Blue Angels perform. They got "fogged out" the first day, and I missed them the second day, but not the third! You can see below that I took quite a few pictures of them!

These were taken mostly with a Canon PowerShot G1 digital camera, and the last three are from the Fuji FinePix 40i.

Enjoy! And if you can help identify any of this ships that I couldn't, drop me an e-mail!

Not sure of the name of this ship. Or this one, but I think it's an Aegis class cruiser. An F/A-18 Hornet buzzes the ships in the bay.

"Fat Albert", a C-130, flew around the bridge! It probably wasn't as close as it looked! Lots of Blue Angels pictures follow!
